Association of the Relatives of the Detained and Disappeared (ASOFAMD) of Bolivia
ASOFAMD leads the fight against impunity in Bolivia, and is responsible for the recovery and identification of the remains of Bolivia's disappeared victims, a few of which you will find identified here. Irene, Esther, Cosme Benito, Enrique A. Saavedra, Carlos Gutiérrez G., Leslie, Graciela, and Alcides Sandóval Monron, are only a few of the many disappeared victims that ASOFAMD is fighting to find.
ASOFAMD works to obtain justice for these victims and their families, and to sanction those responsible of crimes against humanity. Its mission is to search for the truth, seek justice, and keep alive the memories of those who died for national liberation. Cuartito azul is based on testimonies such as that of Gladis Oroza that you will find below, and part of the donations to and proceeds of the film will be used to support ASOFAMD in its fight for justice.
